Self-hosted Backend
Enterprise customers can choose to self-host the React Bricks backend when they need more control over infrastructure, deployment, and data handling.
Self-hosted backend in React Bricks
What it is: A self-hosted backend lets an enterprise run the CMS API and database infrastructure under its own operational controls.
How React Bricks handles it: React Bricks offers a backend self-hosting option for enterprise customers, delivered through Docker images with an update plan.
Why it matters: Enterprise teams can satisfy stricter internal policies, infrastructure rules, data governance, or regulatory requirements than a managed CMS service may allow.
React Bricks is fully GDPR-compliant, and by default our managed database and API infrastructure is hosted in Europe. For enterprise plans, US data residency can also be requested when needed.
For teams with stricter internal policies or regulatory requirements, we also offer a self-hosting option for the backend. This is a good fit when your organization needs to run the API and database within its own infrastructure or under its own operational controls.
The self-hosted backend is delivered through Docker images and comes with an update plan to help keep your installation aligned with the managed production service.
