Real-time Collaboration

React Bricks helps content teams collaborate on the same website without stepping on each other’s work.

Real-time presence and page-level locking are built into the visual editing experience, so teams can work faster while avoiding editing conflicts.

Collaboration in React Bricks

What it is: Collaboration features help multiple editors work on the same website with visibility into who is active and who is editing each page.

How React Bricks handles it: React Bricks includes real-time presence and page-level locking inside the visual editor, reducing conflict risk while keeping work transparent.

Why it matters: Marketing, localization, content, and agency teams can work in parallel without accidentally overwriting each other's changes.

Real-time Presence

Editors can immediately see who is currently active in the app, which makes collaboration more transparent across the team.

On each page, React Bricks shows who is viewing the page and who currently has editing control. That gives teams a clear picture of what is happening in real time, without guesswork or duplicate work.

Page-level locking

When an editor starts working on a page, React Bricks applies a page-level lock. This prevents other users from editing the same page at the same time and helps avoid conflicting changes.

The lock is released when the user saves the page or leaves it, allowing someone else to continue editing with a clear handoff.

If an urgent update is needed, authorized users can use a force unlock action to release the page and take control.
