YuLife combines editor freedom and developer control with React Bricks
Building landing pages in hours with a shared design system and visual editing.

About YuLife
YuLife is a life insurance and wellbeing company redefining the insurance model through user engagement and rewards.
Its platform supports healthy habits and behaviour change, requiring a digital experience that is both flexible and scalable.

The challenge
Before adopting React Bricks, YuLife faced a familiar challenge: how to let marketing, content, and design teams iterate quickly on content, without losing control of brand consistency, UX, or performance.
YuLife's campaigns evolve quickly. Empowering teams to work autonomously, while keeping the quality bar high, was essential to reduce bottlenecks and improve time-to-market.
“Traditional headless CMS solutions gave us flexibility, but they lacked visual context for editors and introduced a disconnect between content creation and its actual presentation.”

Discovery and decision
YuLife explored several tools for component-driven content editing before selecting React Bricks. It stood out during a technical review of headless and visual CMSs that integrate well with React. After seeing community discussions and digging into the documentation, it quickly became clear that it was addressing a real gap in the content management ecosystem.
The component-based model allowed them to preserve their design system while enabling non-technical teams to build pages visually.
“The standout feature was the ability to visually edit content directly using our React components: no translation layer, no workarounds. It struck the right balance between developer control and editor freedom, which is rare.”

Implementation
YuLife started by migrating a few key pages, then built a library of reusable components aligned with their design system. Over time, this evolved into a robust component set that could be reused across pages and content types.
This workflow allows designers and marketers to assemble pages visually, review them in real time, and publish quickly, while developers maintain full control over the underlying components.
As a result, they can publish on-brand pages in hours, consistent and scalable across locales and campaigns.
YuLife appreciated that the learning curve was minimal for their dev team. Building Bricks felt very familiar, as it closely mirrored the component-driven development they were already doing in React. The React Bricks API is relatively small and approachable, and once they established a design pattern, it was easy for their team to follow. Onboarding new developers or contributors was smooth, as the core concepts are well-aligned with modern frontend practices.
“React Bricks turned our design system into a living CMS. It's become a quiet superpower for our team.”

Results
Since adopting React Bricks, YuLife has improved efficiency and collaboration across teams. Marketing and content teams can now build and update pages independently, while developers focus on core product work.
Component reuse has streamlined frontend development and reduced duplication, enabling faster delivery and more consistent experiences across the site.
As developers can now concentrate on their core tasks instead of creating landing pages, they spend significantly less time on content requests and more time focused on core product development. React Bricks helped YuLife align their workflows better across departments, making them more agile and responsive.
Finally, YuLife's dev team highly values React Bricks responsive and collaborative support to ensure a successful launch.
